BENCH FEE (Non-Warranty Repairs) (MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE OR WHEN UNIT IS DROPPED OFF OR SHIPPED IN.)

$60.00 Standard Bench Fee.  EXCEPTIONS:

$30.00 for small items (i.e. microphones, cables, pedals, etc.)

$95.00 for large items (i.e. mixers over 8 channels, digital workstations, any items that require additional evaluation per our discretion)

$150.00 for multiple individual units used as a complete setup (i.e. PA system with amp, eq, mixer and speakers)

 

Bench fees are charged up-front. This charge covers diagnostic time and/or the initial $60.00, or other initial charge of your total repair bill.  The exception to this is for special circumstance repairs (i.e.: lightening damage, custom work etc.). There is a minimum one hour charge of $95.00 (1/2 hour minimum charge of $47.50 for small items) + $23.75 per quarter hour thereafter.  Repairs over $200.00 may require an additional deposit of 50%, or more, up front before any repair will commence. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis. The bench fee is non-refundable. Some units require adapter to operate. Units without will be refused. We are not responsible for accessories not listed above. Ext-warranty repairs denied coverage under ext-warranty terms and conditions do not require bench fee up front as unit will usually be in process and already looked at. Diagnostic fees/bench fees are covered by some ext-warranty companies. You will be responsible for all repair charges and any additional charges such as shipping where applicable.

 

If there is a “No problems found / cannot duplicate” problem with your repair the bench fee rate will still apply, and you are responsible for these charges even if this is a “warranty or ext-warranty repair” as the manufacturer’s DO NOT cover a no-problems found situation. This fee must be paid before we will release the unit back to you.  If a completed repair is left for more than 15 days beyond date repaired it will be assessed a $10.00 per day storage fee.  If the repaired item is left for 90 days it will be disposed of or sold.

 

TRACKING YOUR REPAIR

You will be given a copy of your work order; the upper right-hand corner contains the work order number specific to your instrument. Ext-warranty customers use your tracking # Our WEB address is www.musicrepairdepot.com and you can use your work order number or tracking number to track the progress of your repair with us.
